Under pressure difference, drilling fluid will have filter effect, which means free water of drilling fluid permeate to gaps and pores of rocks on side wall. Filter press is used to simulate drilling fluid's filtration and cake's forming characteristics under static condition. SNS-5A filter press adopt API standard drilling fluid cups, the rated working pressure is 0.69MPa, the effective filtration loss area is 45.6cm2, and the drilling fluid cup capacity is 360ml. Equipped with a  pump air source supply. it is also possible to use a low pressure manifold (optional) with a nitrogen bottle in the laboratory.
