Item: Hardgrove Grindability Tester (HGI Testing Machine)
Model: HGI-60 Introduction
The HGI tester is designed under the principle of grinding law - the energy required to grind the coal to powder is proportional to the total surface area of the produced coal powder. As per ISO 5074, the Hardgrove principle regulates coal sample should be prepared by the sampling machine, and then sieved and weighed. Meanwhile we have to create calibration graph from 4 bottles of SRM, at last check the Hardgrove Grindability Index (HGI) as per the calibration graph. The bigger the HGI is, the easier to grind the coal sample.
Our HGI tester has mechanical loading and digital counting, the counter would stop until the grinder rotates 60 times. The counting function would be resumed in case there is urgent stop. Our HGI machine was approved reliable after decades of operation and improvement.
