Overview
X-ray fluorescence sulfur meter is a quantitative analysis instrument used in petroleum, coal, building materials, metallurgy, mining and other industries. It is mainly used to measure the content of total sulfur (S) in petroleum and its products, coal, cement, carbon black and other materials. Due to the use of physical analysis methods, Characteristics, has been widely used and basically replaced chemical analysis methods because of its high analysis speed, no complex sample pretreatment, high precision, low human error, low labor intensity of operators, no pollution and so on.
DM1260 X-ray fluorescence sulfur meter is a collection of decades of research experience of X-ray fluorescence analyzer. On the basis of the company's original DM series calcium and iron analyzer, X-ray fluorescence sulfur meter, X-ray fluorescence multi-element analyzer, etc., we developed the X-ray fluorescence sulfur meter, which is mainly used in the petroleum industry. It is mainly used to measure the content of S in petroleum and its products (and other liquids). It uses energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) analysis technology, small X-ray tube as excitation source, thin beryllium window inflatable proportional counter, secondary filter and special optical path system, and the proportion method to hard samples, so that the detection limit can reach 10ppm (300s). It has automatic C max H ratio correction, suitable for many kinds of samples, integration, large data storage capacity, and gives the results as soon as 60 seconds. The sulfur meter has sold more than 1000 sets since it was launched in 2005, occupying a large market share.
The 2019 DM1260 X-ray fluorescence sulfur meter is improved to meet the 2019 version of GB/T17040. In addition to maintaining the advantages of the original DM1260, the following major improvements have been made:

  1. It replaces the original proportional counter with a proportional counter with a low background and a thinner window. The distance and angle between the X-ray source, the detector and the sample are adjusted. The high voltage, current and target of the X-ray source are adjusted.
  2. It uses the newly designed digital multi-channel pulse amplitude analyzer using FPGA,DSP technology to replace the original simple multi-channel pulse amplitude analyzer, which reduces the dead time and improves the counting pass rate.
  3. It uses the new large-scale integrated circuit CPU to replace the old CPU, such as 80C31 and the chip circuit to replace the original vertical circuit.
  4. It uses a large screen color touch LCD screen to replace the original black-and-white LCD screen and keyboard, and uses a thermal printer to replace the original needle printer.
Among them, the improvements of (1) and (2) reduce the background and improve the sensitivity, thus greatly reducing the detection limit to 2.6ppm (300s), so that the sulfur meter can fully meet the requirement that PLOQ (combined quantitative limit) is 16ppm in version 2019 of GB/T17040. At the same time, it meets the relevant requirements of the national standard GB17411 and the American national standard ASTM D4294. Among them, the improvements of (3) and (4) greatly improve the reliability of the sulfur meter and improve the user's control experience.
