Overview

The high temperature and high shear viscosity tester is designed and manufactured according to the SH/T0703 and ASTM D5481 test methods, and is mainly used to test the index performance of gasoline engine oil.

 

Method Summary

The engine oil high temperature and high shear viscosity is measured at 150ºC±0.1 and the apparent shear rate of the tube wall is 1.4x106/s using a multi-capillary viscometer with pressure, temperature, and timing devices.

Feature

The instrument uses a 7-inch LCD screen display, the touch screen operation is convenient and fast, and the program is controlled by an industrial-grade PLC, and the system is stable.

The instrument temperature control is controlled by a high-precision intelligent digital display temperature controller, which has the advantages of high precision, strong anti-interference ability, and long service life.

The pressure detection part uses an imported precision pressure sensor, and the data is accurate and reliable.

Experimental process: Turn on the power button to turn on the instrument to automatically heat up to 150ºC, then click the screen to enter the test system interface, select the appropriate pressure value for the sample made by the reference standard, and then use a special threaded syringe to take 7ml of the sample and inject it into the viscosity tube from the top, lock the valve, keep the temperature for 15min, extract the excess sample, click the start button, the instrument automatically measures the pressure change, records the time, and the internal calculation program automatically displays the results and stores them. If the pressure value is incorrect, the system recommends the appropriate pressure value to continue the experiment to ensure the accuracy of the experimental data.

Before the instrument leaves the factory, each measuring unit is calibrated with 4 types of American Kenan standard oil to ensure the accuracy of the experimental data.

The instrument is equipped with a professional pressure reducing valve, which is convenient for users to connect gas cylinders and operate.

The instrument is equipped with an external USB flash drive, which can store data and transfer data conveniently.

The instrument is a desktop structure with reasonable shape and convenient placement.
